I study Environmental Management and work as a Research Assistant at Lakehead University. My research with Superior Streams involves data collection and stream assessments in relation to fish habitat. This research is part of the initial phase in continuous research on Lake Superior’s North Shore streams, which will promote streams for rehabilitation projects. I came to work for Superior Streams because of my life-long interest for fish, fish habitats, water, and the outdoors. Throughout my life I have been walking, running, and playing in streams and creeks in southern Ontario to watch, catch, and chase rainbow trout. As I have grown up, my goal has shifted to sustainability and research on fish and fish habitat, with a focus on streams and creeks.
