As you navigate through the map click on any of the points to see data collected at that site. Within the information pop-ups look for “more info” for a link to the photos taken at that site.
Many of the attributes included in the Assessment Site data are qualitative in nature. For example, light penetration through the canopy over the streams was not measured during the rapid assessment, but the field researchers were asked to assess the amount of shade and cover at each site. In a similar way, questions about the “restoration potential” were asked in order to focus the field crews’ attention and solicit their overall impressions of the assessment site and the stream reach.
